XM Detailing ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our website, book with us, call us, or text us, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Your name, mobile number, and email if you give it to us
- Vehicle details, service location, and notes you add to a booking or quote request
- Appointment details, like the service, date, and time
- Payment details for deposits, which are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages you send us by text, and calls you make to us
- Basic technical information from your browser, like device type and pages visited
How we use it
- To schedule, confirm, and carry out your appointment
- To send appointment texts you agreed to, and to answer your questions
- To keep records of our work and improve our service
- To meet legal requirements and prevent fraud
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information.
We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our online booking and messaging platform (BoyerScales), our text message carrier partners, and our payment processor. They may use it only to provide those services to us.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Text messages (SMS)
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How long we keep it
We keep booking and message records for as long as we need them to serve you and for our business records, then delete them.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards, and our providers use encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security.
Your choices
You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us at xmdetailing011@gmail.com. Some records may be kept where the law requires.
Children
Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Using our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
